Students in grades 7-12 are invited to take a deep dive into digital defense at GenCyber Summer Camp, a free, two-week cybersecurity experience hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The camp runs July 7th through July 10th and July 14th through July 17th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day in UA Little Rock’s EIT Building with an online participation option available. Due to overwhelming interest registration has been waitlisted, but feel free to register just in case!

Led by cybersecurity experts and educators, the GenCyber Summer Camp introduces students to core concepts like cryptography, ethical hacking, and digital security, while highlighting exciting career paths in cybersecurity. Through hands-on activities and real-world simulations, participants will develop practical technical skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

GenCyber is a nationally funded initiative that supports free cybersecurity education opportunities for K-12 students and their families. UA Little Rock is one of several Arkansas institutions participating in this effort to expand access to STEM education and technology learning across the state. The program’s goal is to expand access to cybersecurity education, increase digital literacy, and prepare young learners for the growing demands of the digital world.
