Ivan Rodriguez-Conde

Dr. Rodriguez-Conde is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Between 2009 and 2015, he was a Research Scientist in the SI6 (Computer Graphics and Multimedia) group at Universidade de Vigo, Spain. By the end of 2015, he temporarily turned the direction of his career towards the corporate field and started working as a project manager and UX analyst, leading the creation of user-centric innovative software solutions for mobile and embedded systems. In 2019, recruited by VR pioneer Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira, he rejoined academia.
His experiential background is in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specifically in areas such as multi-touch-based interaction, 3d interactive graphics systems, gamification, and intelligent user interfaces. Dr. Rodriguez-Conde holds a PhD in Computer Science (2015), an MSc in Intelligent and Adaptable Software Systems (2012), an MSc in Computer Science (2010), all three degrees from Universidade de Vigo and an MSc in Game Programming and Design (2011) from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
