Jason Zak
Lead Artist
Jason Zak is the Lead Artist of the Emerging Analytics Center and an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Jason received a BFA (2004) from The Art Institute of Phoenix in Game Art & Design and a BFA (2001) from the New York Institute of Technology in Computer Animation. He worked for over ten years as a professional computer game designer and developer. As Lead Artist for the EAC, Jason continues to utilize his expertise in 3d modeling while also providing his expertise and creativity in texture painting, 2d vector computer graphics, graphic animations, and computer player interaction design. He is responsible for art content across multiple project platforms including browser-based games, Xbox Live, PC downloadable, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, IOS and Android systems. Jason teaches the following course in the Department of Computer Science: 3d Game Development Modeling and Principles of Software UX/UI.
