William Nickols is a Research Associate at the Emerging Analytics Center. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from UA Little Rock in 2023 and has been part of the EAC since 2022. William’s primary focus is bringing ideas into reality through software. His work has ranged from reimagining how we interact with medical imaging in VR to creating tools that preserve community history, such as a searchable database of alumni bricks. He has gained experience in Unity development with a focus on VR, mobile applications, and AI-assisted image processing, while also supporting instructional efforts and team collaboration.
